Adobe rolls out Gen Video Beta
At their recent MAX event, Adobe announced that Firefly is expanding beyond image generation to include a video model, with a gradual rollout now underway for marketers on the waitlist.
Adobe Firefly’s “Generate Video” feature enables users to create professional-quality videos from simple text prompts or images. This tool supports various video elements, including 2D/3D animations, b-roll, and atmospheric effects, making it ideal for creatives to quickly develop ideas, add visual effects, and enhance storytelling. Firefly's content is commercially safe, drawing from Adobe Stock and public domain assets. Users can join the beta waitlist for access to this feature, which integrates seamlessly with Adobe tools like Premiere Pro and After Effects, allowing adjustments to camera angles, motion, and other settings for refined results.
Why This Matters for Marketers
For marketers, Adobe Firefly’s Generate Video feature opens up new possibilities for engaging, visually-rich content without requiring extensive video production skills. By enabling quick, customized video creation through text prompts, marketers can produce b-roll, animations, and branded effects that align with campaign goals.
This tool’s ease of use lets teams swiftly test and iterate ideas, ensuring high-quality content with fewer resources. Firefly’s commercial safety, backed by Adobe Stock, also means marketers can confidently use generated visuals for public-facing campaigns, enhancing creativity and streamlining workflows in content strategy.
